Services We Offer

The Oberlin City Library has many services available to patrons! Here are a few!

Classes

Our Librarians work hard to provide the public with a multitude of fun classes to get people out of their homes. Mandala Dot Painting, Calligraphy Classes, Cooking Classes (For the kids!), and Stitch Therapy. If you are interested in any of these classes, please give the library a call and they will answer any questions you have!

Book Club

Oberlin City Library hosts a monthly gathering for those who enjoy reading and discussing books. This group meets the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the Golden Age Center in Oberlin! If you are interested in joining, please call the library for more information on what book is being read that month!

Story Hour

Story Hour takes place Friday’s at 10:00 am. There is usually a story and a fun craft to go with it – Great for the kiddos!

Free Wifi

Thanks to our friends at Nex-Tech, we are able to offer our patrons free wireless internet access 24/7! If you need wifi after hours, park your car in front of the library. It reaches clear outside so you can sit in the comfort of your vehicle while surfing the web!

Computers For Public Use

We have 15 computers that patrons are able to access with their library card numbers! They are available to everyone and so are the printers! (For a small fee, of course)

3D Printer

Come on up to the front desk and ask our staff to assist you in 3D printing a cool sculpture! There are many things you could print from the internet with this machine for fun.
